Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Likelylane, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We offer a straightforward return and refund process, but we also reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our policy conditions. All returns and refunds are subject to the guidelines below.


2. Return Eligibility

  1. Timeframe:
    • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery date (as shown by carrier tracking).
    • After 14 days, no returns or refunds will be accepted.
  2. Condition of Items:
    • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached.
    • Original packaging (box, polybag, dust bag, etc.) must be intact.
  3. Proof of Purchase:
    • A valid order number or invoice from Likelylane is required for all returns.
  4. Defective or Incorrect Items:
    • If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. We will cover return shipping in these cases (see Section 5).
  5. Non-Returnable Items:
    • Final Sale Items – discounted more than 50% off.
    • Underwear, lingerie (for hygiene reasons).
    • Beauty products (makeup, skincare).
    • Accessories (jewelry, hats, scarves) marked “Final Sale.”
    • Gift cards.
    • Any item that shows signs of wear, washing, or alteration.

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Submit a Return Request:
    • Email our Returns Team at support@likelylane.com with:
      • Subject: “Return Request – Order #[Your Order Number]”
      • Body: Brief description of why you wish to return, plus photo(s) if the item is defective or damaged.
  2. Obtain Return Authorization (RA) Number:
    • Once approved, you’ll receive an email with a Return Authorization (RA) number and detailed instructions, including the return address.
    • Do not ship an item back without an RA number; unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.
  3. Prepare Your Package:
    • Include all original packaging and tags.
    • Clearly write the RA number on the outside of the package.
    • Keep a copy of the shipping receipt and tracking number.

4. Return Shipping & Fees

  1. Customer-Paid Returns (Change of Mind):
    • For returns due to “change of mind,” the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs (using a trackable shipping method).
    • A 10% Restocking Fee (calculated on the item price, excluding taxes and shipping) will be deducted from your refund amount.
      • Example: Item cost $50 → Restocking Fee = $5 → Refund issued = $45 minus original shipping.
  2. Likelylane-Paid Returns (Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items):
    • If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, return shipping is covered by Likelylane.
    • Provide photo evidence of the defect/damage first, then ship with the provided prepaid label. No restocking fee applies.
  3. Partial Refunds & Exchanges:
    • If you choose an exchange (e.g., different size or color), send the original item back per instructions. We will ship the replacement once we receive and inspect your return.
    • If the new item’s price is higher, you will be charged the difference. If it’s lower, we will refund the difference (minus any restocking fee if applicable).

5. Inspection & Approval

  1. Once we receive your returned item, our Quality Control team inspects it to confirm that it meets return criteria (unworn, tags attached, etc.).
  2. Approval Timeline:
    • Inspection typically takes 3–5 business days after the return package is delivered to our warehouse.
    • You will receive an email notification once your return is approved or rejected.
  3. Rejection Reasons:
    • Return outside the 14-day window.
    • Item shows signs of wear, washing, or damage beyond original defect.
    • Missing original tags or packaging.
    • Return not shipped according to our instructions (e.g., no RA number).

6. Refund Process

  1. Refund Method:
    • Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.).
    • If the original payment method is unavailable (e.g., expired card), store credit will be issued.
  2. Refund Timeline:
    • Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days.
    • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the credit to appear in your account.
  3. Refund Amount:
    • Defective/Incorrect Items: Full item cost plus any shipping charged.
    • Change of Mind Returns: Item price minus 10% restocking fee, minus original outbound shipping cost (if shipping was free, the standard shipping cost will be deducted).
    • Partial Returns: If you return fewer items than you ordered, the refund will reflect the price of returned items, minus applicable fees.

7. Exchanges

  1. To exchange an item (size, color, or a different style), follow the “How to Initiate a Return” steps above and state “Exchange” in your email request.
  2. If the new item’s price is higher, you’ll be charged the difference before we ship. If lower, you’ll receive a refund (minus any restocking fee if it’s a change-of-mind exchange).
  3. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If an item is sold out, you may choose another style or receive a refund per our Refund Process.

8. Cancellations

  • Before Shipping:
    • If you cancel within 24 hours of placing your order and your item has not yet shipped, you will receive a full refund.
  • After Shipping:
    • Orders cannot be canceled once branded shipping labels are generated. You must follow the Return Process above once you receive the item.

Likelylane reserves the right to modify or update this Return & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the website following any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated policy.
